Virtual Race Report: Mama Goes Masters

I'm going for the shortest race report! Here it goes...
Race Bib from MCM Mama's website

Race: Mama goes Masters Virtual Race
Distance: 8.25 miles
Location: Scottsdale, Arizona
Route: from house, along suburban sidewalks, on some horse trail, and back
Weather: 80 degrees Fahrenheit, 88% humidity (goes well with the 8 miles, don't ya think?)
Outfit: Green Under Armour sleeveless tee, Gray/White plaid Lululemon running skirt, Hammer nutrition visor
Nutrition: Chocolate No. 9 gel x1 and Vanilla Orange Perpetuem
Time: 1hr 35 minutes
How I felt: The humidity was rough! Where's that front wheel walker when you need one!

Thanks, MCM Mama, for hosting this virtual race! I might not have gotten out there for that distance without it. Happy Early Birthday!!!!

Nice job! How often does AZ get 88% humidity?!

Just reading about your humidity is making me sweat more. I am discovering that my blogging runner friends are much more hardcore than me. I whimper at anything over 70 in typically dry Southern California.

I like your short race report. I may need to copy it. Did you take pictures?

Yuk!! I hate the humidity too. It makes running so much harder and so much slower. The only good thing about humidity is when you get on the scales at the end of a run you're momentarily lighter.

88% humidity?!?! That's crazy!
I don't think we've seen you run in a skirt before, I bet it looks great on you!

I have been seeing 90% humidity here in the mornings after I come back from my runs - not fun at all! great job on the 8+ miles!
