I won't run the RnR because I think it's too expensive for a half and it's less than NYC HM, by about $40. I ran the Women's Half in November and thought the $90 price was too high too. I'd love to see the breakdown of cost to put a race on.

Race fees seem to be easily outpacing inflation and it is rather frustrating. I know some of it likely has to do with "For Profit" organizations (think RnR) managing races now and destination races such as Disney, but even the "charity" races are on board now. I have found there is a lot more bang for the buck doing small, local races.
